It was a proud day for us all at the Screwloose HQ today…

Screwloose has licensed its first tune out to be featured on warner musics ‘Give Me Dubstep’ compilation CD, set for release all across europe in the next few weeks!

Holding a physical copy of this CD felt like we’d reached a great milestone, and gave us a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come.

Over 3 years ago, Loko and Ross from Statix decided to create a label for their end of year project at college. nothing was really being taken too seriously, until Statix member, John brought in a USB stick full of his 15 year old brothers tunes to college one day that Nathan and Ross were blown away by…

Johns younger brother turned out to be KOAN Sound – and a few days later, Akira & Jumpsuit Adventures were signed, and Screwloose Records was born.
